Foam roller
These are my recommended foam rollers. As you explore the different links to find what meets your needs, pay special attention to the varying costs between different brands, the different lengths (within each link, you may select a bigger or shorter one depending on the body part you are targetting), what reviewers say about the firmness (too firm might be uncomfortable at first but it is generally feasible to get used to even firm rollers), and the type of surface (all of the links below have smooth surfaces which is generally preferred over those with bumps or "pressure points" that are generally less comfortable and less versatile in their usage). The following links will redirect you to Amazon.
Heating/Cooling pads (heat/cold packs)
These are my recommended heating/cooling pads (heat/cold packs). As you explore the different links to find what meets your needs, pay special attention to the different sizes/shapes (so that it conforms well to the size and shape of the body part you want to heat up or cool off), the materials (e.g., gel interiors can get to really high temperatures and may need to be wrapped with a humid towel to avoid direct contact, whereas grains are more moderate temperature but doesn't tend to hold the temperature for as long, and finally electric heating pads are at a higher risk of causing burns), and whether it is designed for both heating and cooling or just one or the other (below are all dual function). The costs may vary between brands and over time. The following links will redirect you to Amazon.
Exercise elastics (resistance bands)
These are my recommended exercise elastics (resistance bands). As you explore the different links to find what meets your needs, pay special attention to the different lengths (the options below are 5ft but within the link you may find other options), materials (the options below are latex-free), durability (the reviews on the options below support good durability but it is necessary to take good care such as to not leave out in the sun which may increase the risk of the bands deteriorating and snapping), and resistance (be mindful of whether it is a beginner set with light resistance or a more advanced set with stronger resistance). The costs between products can vary over time. The following links will redirect you to Amazon.
Light dumbbells (small weights)
These are my recommended light dumbbells (small weights for physiotherapy rehabilitation/exercising). As you explore the different links to find what meets your needs, pay special attention to selecting the right weights (there is usually a drop-down menu or clickable options within each link), whether the edges of the dumbbells are well flattened to prevent rolling or if they are rather rounded, reviewers' comments about durability, and whether the coating is neoprene or vinyl (neoprene has better grip and protects your floors/surfaces better from the dumbbell, but vinyl is more durable). Also, the costs may vary between brands and over time. The following links will redirect you to Amazon.
Hand, finger, grip strengthening equipment
These are my recommended hand/finger exerciser and grip strengthening equipment for physiotherapy rehabilitation/exercising. As you explore the different links to find what meets your needs, pay special attention to what is included in the purchase package as there is a lot of variability:
- Do you need to strengthen your fingers' ability to extend (make sure it includes a resistance band where you can insert your individual fingers and exercise to open up the resistance band)?
- Do you need to strengthen your fingers' ability to flex and close into a grip (make sure it includes either a resistance donut, egg, or grip apparatus, and consider how comfortable it would be to exercise with it as you grip your hand tightly around it)?
- Do you need to strengthen your fingers all together or individually (some devices appear to have "piano fingers" that allow you to use one finger at a time, others are just general grip such as the resistance donut/egg/grip apparatus)?
- Verify as well the size relative to how big your hand is (images posted by the reviewers may be helpful).
- Finally, make sure to also verify the level of resistance/difficulty (is there a range of options included or just one resistance level, and/or some grip apparatus options offer the ability to adjust the resistance with a knob, and/or if it seems to have many options for grip but few for extending the fingers, make sure to complement with another purchase option).
As always, the costs may vary between brands and over time. In this range of products, it seems to be especially true that cost may indicate quality, therefore make sure to look at reviewers' comments on durability. The following links will redirect you to Amazon.

The following links will redirect you to Amazon.
